Yikes, Milwaukee looked really bad. And as I just got done reaming the 3 starting guards, they shoot a combined 60% for 77 points. So, nevermind?

I guess we're going to have to sit our asses down and let the boys run wild and see if eventually if some cohesiveness takes place.

OKC tonight will be a better test. Milwaukee has the look of a team on the decline and that Lillard for Holiday trade was one of the worst of last season.

Sounds like the Nuggets maybe a potential trade partner for Lavine.

If Porter Jr for Lavine is on the level the Bulls have to do it.

Zach Lavine is playing the best basketball of his career right now. He seems to have gotten the hero ball out of his system and is competing on defense too. Don't know if it to facilitate a trade or not but he's hooping. So is Vuc. Bulls are probably nothing more than a .500 team at best but they are kind of fun to watch. 3 thirsty Chicago guys on the squad. Still have to find something to do with Coby White but they are a decent squad right now.

Terrible home loss to the putrid Hornets.

The Atlanta loss was really wild. They had like seven guys out injured. g-leagers playing their first game. And the Bulls are totally healthy.

Hornets Mark Williams was all over the place on defense at the end.

Inept poorly constructed Bulls are fun watch last couple minutes to see how they're going to screw things up.

I didn't watch but let me guess from the box score. Guards had 12 turnovers and if you're going to play small ball, your power forward, yes, PAW is the power forward, has to have more rebounds than zero. But to be fair, it appears he was benched. Got himself a -17 in 17 minutes. Jeez, he must have been hideous.

They are a terribly constructed team with a terrible coach. Every year Billy D comes up with a new style of play as a way to camouflage his weaknesses as a coach.

You're running 4 terrible defenders out each and every night in your starting lineup and somehow think you're going to win. They are also terribly undersized as well. 87 guards and 3 bigs. And Matas and Williams are actually 3's.

And for the love of God after 6 years they still haven't figured out that Coby White is nothing more than a bench player at best. Why they think that they can win anything with him is beyond me. Terrible defender with terrible shot selection chucking up 15-16 shots and playing 35 minutes a night will always be a recipe for disaster.

I'm holding off on Coby "the bench player" until Lavine is gone. You're probably right but even if you are, I think he could really flourish as the 1st guard off the bench anywhere in this league.

Don't forget that the highly overrated Manu Ginobili tricked his way into becoming "the best 6th man in history".

Manu was a much better player than Coby White. Copy White is a poor man's Jordan Poole.

Volume scorer who does very little else. Too small for 2 and not enough of a decision maker for the 1 spot. The Bulls only real success over the past 4-5 years came with him playing a minor role off the bench. And that was hardly an accident. Once his role became more prominent the losing started.
I'm not placing it entirely on him however. The Bulls have a hodgepodge roster comprised of too many offensive minded backcourt guys with absolutely no defense or rim protection.
There is no way that they'll ever win anything with as badly a constructed roster as they have.

Bradley Beal would not waive his no-trade clause to facilitate a trade to the Bulls, according to The Athletic. The three-time All-Star wants to join a winning team, but he also finds cold-weather cities like Chicago “less attractive.” These requirements complicate a potential trade for the guard and the chances the Heat can move Jimmy Butler to Phoenix.

Was there an actual deal in place or was this something that came up early before teams got deeper into talks?

If the Bulls are just taking a back another large contract with more than 1 year remaining, why not just keep Zach?

This team just feels stuck on any meaningful rebuild if all they are doing are exchanging ridiculous contracts of players who want (or teams want) to be moved.

Why would the Kings agree to this? Are they trying to use Lavine's contract to help broker a 3-way Jimmy Butler deal for another team?

Bulls are all in on a prayer that the league will gift them the first overall pick to get basketball popular in Chicago again. Even the prep & college scene is dead. Not good for the game, this should be one of their most vibrant markets.

The Lavine trade for the Bulls is probably the worst deal in franchise history. They weren't getting anything of value back.

LaMarcus Aldridge for Tyrus Thomas probably still worse.

Yeah, that was bad, but I guess I just ignored the "what-ifs". This trade was bad from the beginning.

Lavine and DeRozan reunited, which should take Sacramento right out of the playoff run.
