Come on Reggie Miller, there's no way that was a foul.

bad possession by lebron. You're not michael yet. You shouldn't get that call. Great bulls win

So far so good, a win vs. the Spurs and a win vs. the Cavs on the road.

both teams didnt run any type of plays at the end. it was like someone told them "JUST RUN. RUN FAST AND YOULL GET A LOT OF SHOTS. GO GET 'EM BOYS" and that is all they have to go off of. it looks like ymca ball with better moves.

Guys, Reggie Miller was a pretty good player. Reggie is terrible as an analyst.

yeah and road losses to boston and miami are ok. Rose is clearly hurt yet still playing pretty well. They still need to move the ball better, improve their pick n roll defense, and defensively rebound the ball better but alot of that is coaching so it's unlikely to happen. They took care of the ball real well tonight and their halfcourt defense was superb. Those two things will keep you in alot of games

It also helps that LeBron James was held in check with 25 this eve...I know "The King" has had some big games vs. the Bulls in the past.

yep i said he would be the x factor before the season and if he can keep playing this well, especially defensively, the bulls can be pretty good. I also think this is the smartest he's ever been playing

taj gibson impressed me tonight. he might be starting over tyrus soon
deng continued to play well. please keep it up
rose had a nice 2nd half. good to see a double double out of him
salmons is still struggling which is a concern

the no call on the block on gibson was much more blatant than the no call on lebrons drive. just because youre lebron you dont get an auto call on every drive

Gibson has been impressive.

What about the other rookie, has he even got in a game?

I don't believe our Johnson has seen any playing time.

Caught the tail end of this game and it was nice to see the Bulls play a nice defensive game - I think they finished with 6 turnovers or 7 and for this team, that's pretty good.

But I was more struck with the lack of cohesion that Cleveland has now and I believe that's because they overestimated the value of Shaq while underestimating his ability to get up and down the floor in transition. While putting Ilgauskas and Shaq on the floor at the same time does present matchup problems, good coaches will run them to death in transition. The Bulls attempted to do this but looked winded at times. I'm not a big fan of VDN, but I have to give him credit for a good game plan for last night's game if nothing else.

Deng's smartness of play has been counteracted by the dumbness of the play of Salmons

I thought Salmons played better last night, but he has to take better care of the ball. I am doing my best not to give Taj Gibson the Micah Hoffpauir treatment, but I love this kid. He has the it factor, he's a ball bloodhound and seems to always be in the right position.

the Cav's would be better with trained seals making out the starting five and doing the substitution patterns. I'm all for a win you don't deserve, but Z and Shaq on the floor at the same time? Anthony Parker over Booby Gibson? The only reason Mike has a job is apparently LeBron likes him.

I can understand why he put Shaq and Z on the floor at the same time due to the potential mismatch, but it really backfired and I have to credit VDN for countering the move.
