yes i'd love to get rid of kirk because of his contract. There is absolutely no way houston will take him though. And portland's out with the miller signing. I cant really think of a team that would consider it and have the means to do it right now though. Maybe miami if they weren't a prime Summer 2010 player. Maybe the hawks if they didn't strike gold with crawford.

You guys don't think the Lakers would take Kirk for Brown, Faramar and Morrison? It's a shit trade for the Bulls but it clears more cap space. My fantasy would be that trade along with Deng, Thomas and a draft pick or two for Bosh. Then you'd have the cap space to get James or at the worst a Rudy Gay and David Lee.

i dont think the lakers would do that. Unfortunately for us, i dont think mitch kupchak is an idiot anymore. They dont need kirk and it would add money to their already big payroll

I agree with what you're saying, but after they signed Gasol, Mitch was talking about the message it sent to the league and how they'll pay big money to win, I think Kirk would only help them and they would be losing crap.

true. And even with the triangle deemphasising the importance of the point guard kirk would fit in perfectly there. I just think that the added money, the potential disruption of on-court chemistry, and mitch being in love with his pick farmar will all prevent that from happening in the end
