I wonder if there are any similarities between Nate Robinson and Ben Gordan. Like Robison, Gordon was an undersized guard who didn't play much defense, he could take over a game at the end and hit some clutch shots. But he thought he was worth too much, so he got his big deal elsewhere and has been sitting on the bench making a lot of money. I somewhat expect a similar thing to happen to Nate, although I doubt he will see Ben Gordon money.

i think they let ben go because you couldnt tell how much he cared from game to game. he thought he was a bigger star then he really was, whereas nate seems to know who he is and he plays the way he does because thats the only way he has a chance at being successful. i think its a BIG difference between the two players, mentally.

Yeah, that's probably true. Nate is more of a hot head that knows how to entertain. The fact that's he's so short makes him significantly more aggressive than if he were taller. Nate has those hot stretches, but he also jacks up bad shots and plays terrible defense at times. The Bulls also lost a fair amount of games without Hinrich because Nate is not a good point guard.

This is not a parody thread. I am 100% serious.

no you're not and I'll help pack his bags out of town. He's awful. Go get T-ed up by Joey Crawford again.

Dude, at this point I'm thinking maybe Rose playing would hurt the chemistry. Let him sit. Fuck him.

I actually agree, seriously. Its too late for his return. He hasn't played with like 75% of the roster. Just roll the dice with what you have. He wouldn't help until 5-10 games later.

I'm on board. See if you can get a draft pick or something for Rose. We all remember how the Jay Williams thing turned out. Get value while you can and rebuild around Nate, Buckets, and Noah.

I guess you retract your Nate hate from the beginning of the season eh? You can't build around Nate but the man can play. Let's see if Reinsdorf coughs up the cash to keep him.

As much as I've lost respect for Rose, he's still a premier talent and won't be traded. I hope he gets off his pussy ass and plays LIKE IN GAME FUCKING 2!

Go Bulls!

Nate's advanced stats are quite good. The thing about his is that he's so up and down. But he's exactly what the Bulls need. He fits like a glove. The Bulls are able to maximize his potential. He's won the Bulls quite a lot of games this year.

Backup guards are fungilble items on the Bulls. Every year someone seems to play well over his head and then gets a payday elsewhere.

Nate and Bellinelli will get their money. Bring on the next group.

I'm pretty sure he can be. Didn't Rose sign his deal before the last CBA was signed?

It may have been signed before but it didn't 'kick in' until after, thus the raise he got due to the 'Derrick Rose Rule'
