Hawks and Bulls have made good trades this season.

I hated to lose Portis, but I'll admit Otto is a better all around player.

In spite of opinions to the contrary, there WAS defense in the game. Three dudes fouled out and there were several fouls on 3 pointers. Got sloppy at the end but WTF do you expect? The fact is both teams had a great shooting night.

Otto saved the game twice (5 points in 5 seconds to tie the game) and later 3 clutch free throws in a do or die game situation. Lavine pulled us out, Archie saved the game with 2 secs on the clock!

The game was great and anybody that saw it and still says that Young ain't for real should be lobotomized. The comparisons with Iverson and Curry is spot on and the league better take note of it.

I agree that a top notch pt. guard should be our 1st priority next season.

Zion Williamson or were nothing.

Not sure about that at all. Otto is good. Don't think he's $27 million a year good.

That's not true...you know how many #1's have been busts. The only insurance for being a top contending team is for the core to be good. We have the core and the best way to put us over the top is by the aquisition of a proven all star vet that won't upset the chemistry....that's a bird in the hand and not a ping pong ball in the bush, Ike.

Please tell me about the history of free agent acquisitions in regards to the Bulls.

I don't know, but I would wager we've NEVER had a #1 to bring home the bacon.

EDIT: I made a search and Duncan, Akeem, and David Robinson are the only 3 to EVER do it, with LeBron doing it interrupted in the last 30 years. So basically it happens mighty fucking rarely if you're not a Texas drafted center. We have a better chance of aquiring some other team's #1 after he's proven, like Shaq from Orlando.

BTW my search did not include Akeem O. (I added him) so my research may be bullshit. If anyone could shed some light, please do.

I’d much rather build through the draft then rely on this organization to sign a top shelf free agent.

No shit! If not for Butler being a shitbag we wouldn't have the 2 bona fide stars we have.

I think what jbills is saying is that you seem to be ignorant of the Bulls record of attracting top free agents. To be clear, the record is a disaster. To hope the Bulls land a premier free agent is like hoping to squeeze water out of a rock.

I see...this puzzles me: other teams with no championship pedigree in smaller cities get 'em. WTF is wrong with the Bulls??? The Cubs have no such problems.
