You say that to stop teams from trying to bid on him. The teams have to sign him to an offer sheet. The Bulls have his Bird rights so they won't have a problem matching any offer.

The salary cap is going up by about $20M in 2016 because of the new tv deal. The Bulls are still in great shape.
