(not sure why they leave out 2014 & 2015 ... TJ Warren by your Phoenix Suns & Cameron Payne by your OKC Thunder, respectively) |

6'9" Marcus Morris 14/6/3 playing starter minutes for the Pistons last season. Good ball-handler, can create his own shot off the dribble/start the break. Has a PJ Brown/Antonio McDyess caliber mid-range jumper. Is more than serviceable from behind the arc (37 %). pushing 80% FT shooter.Stays healthy. Playing 80+ games last few seasons. Seems to calibrate his game to the players around. Taking a back seat offensively to the main Pistons scorers. Stepping forward and taking the lead offensively when he's on the floor with 2nd unit guys. Pistons stole him in a 3 players for a 2nd rounder trade last off-season; Suns were dumping salary to try to clear up space to make a run at signing LeMarcus Aldridge. |

Denzel Valentine projected to go about 3 or 4 spots after the Bulls are scheduled to pick....similar to where Draymond Green went when the Bulls passed on him (i.e., 3 or 4 spots later). Valentine's scouting report re: defense reads like a copy-pasts of Draymond Green's, "weak lateral movement, in-between sizes/positions" etc. The Bulls commitment to Dougie McBuckets likely means Valentine isn't even on their radar this draft. But could be another miss for the Bulls front office. |
