Grant will compete for a starting guard position, but will have to get a lot of playing time. He played a decent amount of minutes toward the end of the season last year, and had some success, but that's against teams probably not trying to hard.

The new Jimmy Butler is good. Averaged 27-7-7 in 11 games without Rose last year.

He carried a team that was decimated by injuries into the playoffs. The Grizzlies would have faded if not for his stellar play down the stretch.

They went 2-8 immediately after you touted his resurrection. I posted it but I think you'd been exiled. His return to bench/dnpcd status coincided with yours. The return of a few starting players accomplished that, not Lance.

The team is going to suck but Butler could put up some monster numbers next year.

He's going to be miserable if the roster doesn't improve. I don't think he's a Jalen Rose or Ron Mercer type that's happy with putting up numbers on a shitty team.
