man if you guys didn't hear, around ~320-330 on b&b the CBS sports minute was a proper "hot take" on the knicks and dude was spittin hellfire. i forget how he slagged off rose, but he went on to say "nobody's playing any defense, and that's including joakim noah (who's already benched) and carmelo anthony is an aging [volume shooter] and [blah blah blah they're all worthless except for porzingas)"

sounds about right to me!

i texted a friend "lol bulls down 10 in under 4 minutes" then 5 minutes later it was "lol bulls down 15 in under 6 minutes" --- the knicks' defensive strategy of letting the bulls brick/miss wide open shots is working great. conversely, their "shoot 60-70% from the field" offense is doing well...

...and in the time it took me to type that the bulls just had a 5 point swing and porzingis finally bricked a 3. #KnicksGonnaKnick, eh? it's under 10pts now =D

They're going to rebound with anybody in the league. So even on a cold shooting night we should be able to get quite a few fast breaks and second chance baskets.

hahah damn, seeing rose get blocked on back to back plays followed by a mirotic 3 to put the bulls up 4 = #KnicksGonnaKnick....

but then again that porzingis has a pretty nice stroke from beyond the arc so we've got ourselves a ballgame here.... provided that the knicks can minimize their 2nd unit, of course.

also, i remember saying last year that mirotic would be the "x-factor" of the bulls; you know, that they'd probably be about as good as he is...

...IIRC he started off pretty ok but then had some weird injury and disappeared for awhile and [last season] ensued.

this year he's looking a bit more confident with his all around game, and you gotta love his shooting touch for a 6'10" guy. also playing with d-wade and an actual point guard in rondo certainly can't hurt. also the team liking each other (even despite rondo?) might also help things out.

of course it's still early as hell and this is really only the 2nd time i've watched them this year, so i could just be early-season-stupid-- stay tuned!
