http://nba.nbcsports.com/2016/12/30/fre ... um=twitter Quote: The Chicago Bulls were hopeful that they would be battling with the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors for a Top 4 seed in the Eastern Conference early in the season. Now, the Bulls sit at .500 and are fighting to stay in the playoff race and head coach Fred Hoiberg is reported to be in danger of losing his job.
That’s according to ESPN’s Marc Stein, who wrote on Friday that Chicago’s performance as of late — they’re 6-9 in December — has the team rethinking the coaching position. Via ESPN: "The latest chatter on the coaching grapevine, meanwhile, tells us that the toastiest seat on the NBA map at present belongs, rightly or wrongly, to the Chicago Bulls’ Fred Hoiberg. The Bulls’ largely disappointing play in December, on the heels of a non-playoff season, has put Hoiberg under earlier-than-expected pressure, according to league sources." |

The coach is always the problem with the Bulls. |

I'm all for it, but there's zero chance that Jerry eats 3 and a half years of salary for NBA Mark Trestman. |

I also would have no problem with that. But much like the Bears, the boobs hiring the coaches are the problem. |

He will be a great hire at Illinois. |

Yes, if Hoiberg gets launched, it better be a package deal with Gar too. Fred is Gar's guy, and he stupidly handed out a 5 year deal to someone with zero coaching experience (not even as an assistant) in the pros. Fire Fred and Gar and make Paxson coach this shit team the rest of the season in the hope that he resigns too. |

I don't think Hoiberg should be fired but if you're going to fire him Gar has to go too. He's been a disaster in every way. |

Seems Gar is using the Matt Millen guide to job security. Just fire people you hired and blame them before your bosses get a chance to fire you! |

Hoiberg's starting Michael Carter-Williams over Rondo in the 2nd half Fred's feeling the heat. |

He needs to get his white ass back to Iowa State where he belongs. They haven't had a worse offensive team since Khruschev visited in 59. |

How many coaches does this current management get? If Hoiberg is on the hot seat, what about Gar? Paxson? Haven't they gone through Del Negro, Thibs and now Hoiberg? Gar was probably the GM for only 1 official hiring so that could be their out, but that's pathetic if, as a group, they keep going through coaches without any accountability for fielding the most unathletic shooting team in the NBA. |

Paxson hired Skiles and Unlce Jerry hired Del Negro and Thibs. Forman hired Hoiberg and he's responsible for every pick since Butler. Forman should be fired and Paxson should do the job. |
