Nikola Mirotic has not responded to any calls or text messages to anybody from the organization. There is fear within the organization Niko won’t return to the Bulls.

That would mean his contract is void, right?

I like the word "fear" in the statement. I am guessing not everyone in the organization has that fear.

New development: There are indications Mirotic now would pass on veto and accept trade, per Woj's Twitter. Mirotic can't be traded until Jan. 18.

Can the Bulls trade them both? That would be ideal.
