Rondo, Harris, Butler, Mirotic, Nurkic is a great starting five. Zero chance they would be an 8 seed.

Point being that Butler as the best player doesn't make anyone an upper echelon team. Not enough of a difference maker to win two consecutive playoff rounds. It is being proven time and time again.

But only Toronto has been fully healthy. This whole thread is based on a pretty hefty set of "ifs." But many of them lined up for the Bulls except for their roster and coaching. HUGE variables, I know, lol, but still... is the roster of LaVine on a max deal, Dunn, Markkanen, Portis and Trae Young better than Butler, Mirotic, Rondo, Harris, Nurkic and Taj?

which one? starting with the kurt himlick years? i agree they keep rebuilding mediocre teams... but this year's group was a lot better than anyone thought they would be... and theyre babies. give them a chance, you have no other choice anyway.
