That team would have won a bunch of titles. No way they lose to Dallas.

It was never going to happen. The three (with Wade) had made this a pact years before this.

Despise him if you like, but that dude can play basketball. Got to watch him play against DePaul and he poured in 35 with little effort. He looked like a man playing against boys. Can't fault him for wanting a lot of championships.

I think the plan was to do it in Chicago but Rose emerged which made the cap outlook untenable and the Bulls front office isn't really good at capitalizing on these types of things anyways. Riley doesn't fuck around and probably got in Wade's ear about Miami being perfect for their little experiment.

Rose was still on his rookie deal. He had not “emerged” yet. Deng ate up cap space. But a team of Rose, Deng, Noah, Bosh, LeBron and Butler would win some games. Thibs having that many elite defenders would have been fun to watch.

I forget why they couldn’t trade Deng to create room for a 3rd max slot? The Hinrich to Washington deal shedding $10 million seemed easy.

Disputing the title of reporter?

I think it was more trying too hard than it was laziness.

No it was not developing good sources. While not everyone can be Woj, being wrong on every story he "broke" shows he had no ability to be a reporter. Very similar to his ability as a host actually.

Gar is still here. The black NFL players did not strike, and he imminent meant several years later apparently.

So he wasn't good because he couldn't develop sources, or because he was lazy?

I would say those two things are directly related.

You can be a bad reporter for multiple reasons, but if that's what you're going with no worries.

He was a terrible reporter. He quit going to college. He seemed ill-prepared at best during his show. I know you love him because he's a big black stud, but I would say laziness seems like a common factor in his failures. Whether it's laziness in the form of curiosity and seeing other sides or developing sources.

He blocked me over a tweet similar to this.

Edit, I believe he said something hockey reporters usually being way off, in regards to rumors. I reminded him about the #imminent tweet. BLOCKED.

You spent a considerable amount of time trying to paint Curious Hair as a racist over use of the term. The only reason you give a shit about a mediocre at best failed radio host is that you have taken this role as racism cop. It’s pathetic.

If that's your interpretation of the zeitgeist thread then fine.

I'm surprised you're denying the talent of the HoF level sports radio personality that is Jason Goff.

Back on topic, I don't think it was ever going to happen here. The three of them wanted to play together in Miami because of management and weather. Wade was never leaving Miami in his prime to come to the winters of Chicago. He only came here because the Bulls were the only team that were going offer him that much money.

Would have been fun obviously but I still think the bulls could have competed against the Heat had they aquired another shot creator. They kept trying to fill that secondary scorer role with guys who still needed screens to operate, like Richard Hamilton. They needed another guy who was sufficiently dangerous on his own terms.
