This is a bad thing if you wanted the team to win games this year. He's far and away their best guard and their only NBA caliber PG. Also the only good defensive player on the team

Well I sampled parts of the first three games. Fun watching LaVine score with ease, but the rest seems like a hot mess. They are okay in stretches, but they have yet to play a decent full game.

It's less about winning this year to me than just seeing what we've got in the big 3. They need to play together for an extended stretch to get any sort of feel for their compatibility.
