Man, what a game. They overcame the run, and stepped on the Heat's neck. Much improved over last year.

MVP game me the end of S&R for my birthday, and the Bulls threw in a sweep of the defending Champs. It's going to be a good year.

I'm quite surprised that Posey didn't leave the court without injuring someone.

Miami looked like they checked out midway through the third quarter. The Bulls crushed their will to win. I love that.

It was great to see the Bulls grow up right before our eyes. Gordon, Deng and Hinrich all took major steps forward in their development. I thought for sure they would wilt in the heat of game three, but they held strong and played a very skilled game under difficult circumstances. They really know how to play the game now and seem to be developing a killer instinct.

This was an incredibly fun series to watch--I can't wait to see them play against the Pistons.

They made the Heat look old. Tall Midget CLOWN is correct, in that we saw them grow up a great deal in this series. Turnovers were down, lots of passing and outstanding rebounding on both ends of the floor. Skiles has done an outstanding job so far.
Regardless of the outcome of the rest of the playoffs, the future is very bright for this team.
Hey, if the balls fall right in the draft, this team could be a major force for the next 5 or six seasons.seasons.

I'm not even a Bulls fan, and I am enjoying their play.

To quote Reason, they will be a force for the next five to six years. However, I don't think they need a great draft pick to do so; they already have enough talent and coaching to be a contender for the Finals year in-year out.

Of course, if they do make the finals this year, I hope Phoenix is there to spank them... :P

This series is the Eastern Conference Finals.

Slow your roll on that talk. The way Kidd is playing now, I don't think you can count the Nets out yet. I think they'll dispatch the Raptors, and I think they'll take care of the Cavs too. If the Bulls get past the Pistons, it's going to take everything they have to get past the Nets, especially given their inability to beat them on the road.

I think the Bulls, Pistons, and Nets are all right there.

Another factor that people are falling into "saying the Heat were old and Wade wasn' the same" True, Wade wasn't the same but he was still pretty decent offensivly. All of his turnovers had nothing to do with his injury. It was the Bulls defense. Don't take credit away from the Bulls by saying the Heat were old and Wade was hurt. That diminishes how great the Bulls played. Nobody said that going in. I'm not saying anybody here but I've heard that. Plus they won 2 road games in the playoffs. Tough any time but in the playoffs against the champs. Wow. I knew the Bulls would win this series but am shocked by the sweep and the relative ease of all 4 wins. Very impressive.

Don't forget being a witness to Nas's 8000th post.

Does anyone have any idea how the round 2 schedule may work out?

They said not till next Sunday because they already schedule the start of rounds. It doesn't matter that both teams are done. Pistons have home court and get the first two games there. Pretty sure it's 2-2-1-1-1 just like the opening round.

The start of that schedule is dictated by having Game 1 on ABC, and it will be a 2-2-1-1-1 format.
