Probably unfair but it's all about Zion now.

They were never going to win with him. No defense, and the team had trouble playing four quarters of basketball.

Much like the Blackhawks , the entire front office needs to go too. Real courageous firing the coach though.

Maybe they weren't. I've been saying for years they set him up to fail. They hired him to run a system but gave him players that didn't fit that system.

At the very least Gar needs to go too.

What's the point of this? How many coaches do these guys get to hire?

He needed to go. I get that guys were injured and all but they didn't play a style that was conducive to winning. He never held guys accountable on defense and too many role players that didn't know that they were role players. I tried to roll with him but it was obvious that guys didn't respect him. Lavine was the latest to do so.

So Boylen is coach now? Is this permanent or just till end of season?

I'm not saying a lot of this isn't true but he didn't have a chance because management fucked him.

Well given all that , how the fuck does the idiot who hired him not also get the axe? He’s just as accountable then for hiring a head coach whom he was obviously 100% wrong about . How can you trust his talent evaluation then?

No interim tag. That means Boylan was stabbing him in the back.

They had tunnel vision when hiring Hoiberg anyway so the whole approach was flawed. Gar should have been shown the door with Hoiberg. Pax needs to go as well.

McCarthy and Hoiberg both fired in the past 24 hours. What a fantastic start to the month.

That doesn't matter. Put 5 talented dudes together on the court and it won't matter if they disrespect the coach. 82-0 and 16-0

Really doesn't make the difference that you seem to think that it does. Have you seen Pop and Spoelstra's records this year? Talent is the most important factor which has always been my point.

<--This what is the point on firing him if you want to tank this year anyway? Garpax needs to go. You had multiple chances to fix the team and failed. Hoiberg should have never been hired in the first place.

You gotta whack Forman at the very least. I'd provide Paxson a little more rope but he has to also show that he wants to be more involved/accountable. If he doesn't want to take the reins then you whack him also. No more of this GM by committee nonsense.

Seems completely fucked up....so they already know he is who they want?

Make him interim coach til end of season and then if you like what you see hire him full time.

This organization is so messed up

I don't want Boylan either. He is the architect of that terrible defensive scheme that they employ.
