Will the Bulls make any trades before the deadline?

Saw this floated on bleacher report as a deal that might work

Dallas Mavericks receive: Kris Dunn, Jabari Parker
Chicago Bulls receive: Dennis Smith Jr., Wesley Matthews
The time is coming for the Bulls to decide whether Dunn is their long-term answer at point guard. He has thus far proved himself a solid defender, but his offensive game leaves a lot to be desired. Smith is the opposite.
If the Bulls don't believe Dunn is their point guard of the future to pair with Zach LaVine, they could take a chance on Smith, who would give them a more dynamic offensive look.
This trade could get done with or without the inclusion of Parker and Matthews, but both teams have been trying to unload the veterans' expiring contracts for months, so they might as well make them a part of this deal. Both would likely be headed for the buyout market regardless.

Anthony Davis to Bulls imminent.

They're probably going to do a buy-out for Lopez at some point. If they trade Parker, I think they would need to take back an expiring deal with similar money (I could be wrong about that), but I don't expect the Bulls to do anything significant other than preach patience and the development of their young "core" while securing another high pick that probably won't provide them a franchise player.

Bulls best bet is to simply play Parker and see what they have in him for the next 30 games. He is their most talented offensive player and that includes Lavine. See what they have and if they like they see re-up him for next year.

Different coach though.

Ready to see what Dunn and RoLo can be had for.

This team doesn't need the drama of Papa Ball.

Quote:
The Bulls will listen to offers for anyone other than Lauri Markkanen and Wendell Carter Jr., sources say -- and that includes Kris Dunn and Zach LaVine. The biggest question about Chicago going into the season was whether any of their main ball handlers -- Dunn, LaVine, and Jabari Parker when the Bulls were pretending he was a wing -- would emerge as someone who could orchestrate an above-average NBA offense. The answer has been an emphatic no. I would not bet on Dunn or LaVine getting dealt; they are still young, the Bulls would ask for a ton, and they need, like, some guards on next season's team. But any rival enamored with them should call.

The best bet is to lose as many games as possible and it in the "bottom 3"

I'd rather try to hire him away to your company. You'd be doing the city a favor. Your company would probably go out of business though shortly thereafter.

Sacrifices must be made.

Even better. Tell him about the advantages of being your own boss. If you can implant that idea into his head that'd be great. It would at least replace the idea he already has about trading this year's first round pick for Doug McDermott 2.0.
