How does your Minnesota Wolves look Walt? Remember they went for it by acquiring Butler, Teague and everyone's favorite Taj. Where did it get them?

Yeah Philly (As I predicted) blew all of you out of the water. Shoutout to my guy 312 for being down from day 1. Now I will let the other naysayers and doubters explain how "The Process" has been a failure. They can have the proverbial fight to the bottom on how it was a stupid idea.

They were THE major joke of all of pro sports for like half a decade, and still haven’t accomplished a damn thing. And all the teams that are better than them did so without tanking. Ridiculous example.

I liked how at the time of the Butler trade the suggestion was that the Bulls had jumpstarted a rebuild by landing a new core 3. Now everyone realizes Dunn's not a starting caliber point guard, LaVine's game doesn't contribute to winning, and the Bulls are taking calls on both of them. Oh and Markkanen game's regressed this year, but he's at least still part of the latest core for the future with WCJ (who I predict will be similarly removed from the list in the next 2 years) and whichever poor rookie gets drafted here.

The Bulls biggest problem isn't there core guys. Its the fact that they have the worst bench in the league and an idiot coach that thinks it is better to play Shaq Harrison than Jabari Parker. They have 3-4 D Leaguers that are part of the rotation. Not simply on the roster but Part of the team.

You aren't making any sense. If you still argue that the Process wasn't successful then you are simply foolish. What has Toronto Won? How About Houston? Portland?

Philly is only in the 2nd year of their "core" guys playing and they are already in title contention. Won 52 games in the first season of the tank. Have the guy generally regarded as the Best Center in the league and another guy that was Rookie of the Year and an All Star this year.

We don't know how this year will turn out. To argue against it is to embarrass yourself.

Houston got within a game and CP injury of beating GS. Philly got their asses kicked by a team missing it's best player and who didn't even make the Finals.

Quit with the "simply foolish" and "embarrassing yourself" comments. Argue the point on merit or drop it. You're not nearly as smart as you think you are and I'm not nearly as dumb about the NBA as you assume the rest of us to be.

this debating just proves that there is only 1 approach that works....DRAFTING A SUPERSTAR. You cannot tank your way into drafting a superstar...too much luck involved.

Stop dude. You have been wrong at every turn. Now you are constantly "moving the goalposts" just to be right. In fact what have you been correct about where they are concerned?

Lets start citing examples. Forget all of the dismissive stuff. All I have to do is start bumping stuff and you are done. You have been wrong every step of the way. You are not nearly as smart as you think you are either.

Lay it on the line or drop it before you end up embarassing yourself. You are wrong far too often to try and play the "authority" game the way that you do

I agree. It makes no sense to tank during years in which there are no superstar or star players in the draft. Anthony Bennett, Olowokandi, type years you are better off seeing what you have on the roster than tanking/selling.

That was two years ago and we are talking about a league that changes drastically every season. Terrible gotcha attempt.

They won 52 games during the first year that their two main guys got going. Going into last season Simmons and Embiid had only participated in 31 games combined. Simmons had never played in an NBA game at that point.

FavreFan wrote:
They have a very long ways to go in terms of filling out that roster but yeah I agree, if you draft in the top 3 for 8 straight years you should eventually be good.

Then there was this.

FavreFan wrote:
Noel is good though. He's good at almost everything except scoring. He's definitely a useful player and probably a starting caliber center, and they gave him away.

I hope you're not serious about pumping up a guy winning rookie of the month. He's shown some promise but he's also a rookie averaging 11 ppg and shooting just 40%.

"A healthy Embiid" is starting to sound like an oxymoron.

And this.

FavreFan wrote:
If he's healthy Noel will play for another 12+ years in the league and start most of them.

I will simply stop at this point.

FavreFan wrote:
Your franchise superstar has to play in more than 10% of his career games. That's a bit more important than free throw shooting.

Simmons is the key to this whole thing. Embiid is a luxury that probably won't be available most years. Starting this upcoming offseason they need to retool the roster around Simmons. They'll have some flexibility even with Embiid's contract to make some moves.
