Yes they have a game left, but this isn't interesting enough for it's own thread...

Kris Dunn was unprepared for this season's "multiballhandler" offense. I'm sure he'll be better next year now that he knows.

Thibodeau would have had him straight by now.

Maybe Paxson can strangle him too.

Hope he preps himself for a nice backup job for the next 5 years or so he's in the league

I didn't pay attention to the Bulls at all this season (despite them being my favorite pro sports team) so I was surprised to see that Dunn's season stats were better than expected given the generally negative reviews he's gotten (here and on local media).

GP MPG FG% 3P% FT% REB AST BLK STL PF TO PTS
46 30.2 42.5 35.4 79.7 4.1 6.0 0.5 1.5 3.6 2.3 11.3

The numbers aren't good but they are way better than the eye test.

This. Of course they're not great...not horrible either though. Historically they're better than Paxson's career numbers and comparable to Norm Van Liers.

Lonzo is a lot better than Dunn. There's a reason the Lakers fell off a cliff as soon as he got injured for the season.

Anyway, this offseason will be pretty uneventful outside of bringing Rose back to replace Dunn.

Seems very unlikely. Any sane, competent organization would though. Jerry doesn’t run those types of organizations though.

the off-season is the draft lottery. since no real free agents will sign with this organization... stan bowman used up all of the chicago draft lotto luck that had been saved up since derrick's pick

They're gonna make the unprecedented move of having someone who's not currently a member of the Bulls organization represent them at the lottery. Derrick Rose will be there winning us the number 1 overall pick once again before signing here over the summer as a FA and helping Zion lead us to three more titles by 2024.

How did I not know this would be the new narrative. Oh wait I did. Let us also not forget his stellar abilities as a defensive player.

Lonzo Ball is one of the primary reasons Magic resigned yesterday. Kid is a major bust.

Turns out Ball wasn't Magic's pick. It was Buss's pick

Probably so. Still doesn't mean he wanted to draft the bum that was Lonzo.

Actually it was reported prior to the draft also.

The only reason to fire Boylen is if there is a higher than competent coach out there who would actually agree to coach this team. Anybody who would apply for this job is either incompetent or a criminal Kelvin Sampson type, so why bother replacing the coach?

I’m fine with a criminal if he can coach a little. The bar isn’t very high.

Correct. I'm sure you aren't even aware of the non imaginary workings of the Lakers. Or Bulls for that matter.

You've provided two thoughts in this thread and neither actually pertain to basketball. Typical

You are just sort of around.

Would Luke Walton be an upgrade?
