There’s no point in whining about it (and I’m as unhappy as anyone). Who’s your guy? |

This is why the NBA is a joke. Lakers make the top 4. What a scam. |

I'd consider trading the pick for cash. |

I’m thinking LA will jump at the chance to trade Lebron straight up for the pick. |

It will be some decent player that won't fucking matter. So who cares? They've got a bunch of decent players. Which means 43 wins and the 8 seed. Then when all of them really mature they get the 5 seed. Which still won't matter. Then they blow it up and rebuild again. Bernstein: We need a wang whipper!!!!! |

Gar is locked away deep beneath the bowels of the Berto Center feverishly mapping out a grand scheme to grab the best unathletic, tall three point shooter the seventh pick can buy. Here's to you, Gar. Nothing but the best in your quest to acquire spot up shooters to complement the star you'll never sign. |

And who wouldn’t jump at the chance to play for Boylen? |

I could be wrong, but I think only MLB gives "No trade clauses". I think the NBA and NFL never agreed to that in their CBA. I've never heard of it in these leagues. |

Ok. That makes him a dumb ass. Why wouldn't he request one? The Lakers would have granted it. Any team would have granted it to sign his ass. |

Darius Garland. The next Damian Lillard. He’s got Phoenix written all over him though. This will be like Dwyane Wade getting away in the ‘03 draft. |

No one is going to trade for him unless he personally orchestrates it. He's not going to any team against his will. |

They might as well just start the next rebuild now. |

Walt Williams Neck wrote: They can't even get the process right What process? That doesn’t exist now with new lottery rules. Even if you finish with the worst record, you still have a 86% chance of not getting the 1st pick. There’s now a 35% chance a team in the 6-14 range drafts #1 as opposed to 18% before. Take the Pelicans and Grizzlies — they each would have had a 10% chance at breaking into the top 3 with the old rules. Now they have a 26% shot at landing in the top 4 (NBA draws the first 4 slots). It’s just a lot more chaotic. |
