Just visited RealGM and saw someone arguing that Masai Ujiri deserves criticism for trading for Kawhi when he could leave because a single title doesn't do as much for long-term franchise value compared to the stability GarPax bring to the table with their moves.

The Bulls are bunch of innings eaters. They trade for innings eaters and they draft innings eaters.

The issue is that "Innings Eaters" is name for a player this is usually just average.

Pax wants to think he controls shit. Wants to think he has a plan.

Sorry, GMs are flying by the seat of their pants. Pax ain't built that way. He's got to go. His last two draft picks were old school asset building. Which is now obsolete.

This league is about getting the 1%ers. Now(Nets, Lakers, Clippers)and future(Pelicans, OKC, Atlanta). Just lining up like a sheep for your 7th pick and being happy with Coby White is not in line with what the good GMs are doing.

The problem is we (Chicago) think we matter more than we actually do. Nobody gives a shit about Chicago. We're a glorified flyover city in the eyes of elite NBA athletes.

I heard somebody over the last week on radio saying the Bulls need to sell a piece of the team to Chance the rapper or Obama.. I think it's a great idea. Those guys might lure a FA or two . Reinsdorph and Paxson aren't going to ever do it.
