Has he officially retired as a Bull? I know he signed to retire as one, but if they’re waiting for a press conference the Bulls could still find a way to kill him before then. |

4th leading scorer in franchise history. I never would have thought that. |

I wasn't a Bulls fan in the 1990's. Why would Jordan or Pippen be my favorite Bull? I thought it was well documented that I was a very big Magic fan in the 1990's and that lasted up until about 2004, when McGrady went to the Rockets. |

Two takes one thread! Wow! |

Your favorite anything must also be the best, good to know. |

I barely remember the Bulls 1st championship, and I only can recall small bits and pieces of their 2nd and 3rd. However, a favorite player doesn't have to be the best player. Two of my favorite Sox of all time are Paul Konerko and Ray Durham. |

Right, middle school/JR high kids kids. IMU (I think) would have been like 7 in 1993. |

I think that'd be 2nd/3rd/4th for IMU and me, and they were there. Shaq was cool and people's families went to Disney World. Some kids liked to be contrarians even then. I also remember my 3rd grade class being HUGE into the San Francisco 49ers the year they won their last Super Bowl. Everyone wanted to be Steve Young at recess, it was weird. |

You both have it about right. My Mom was a HUGE Bulls fan, and went to about 10 games a year with her friends as I was growing up...would take us to a couple each year as well. At 7 years old...I definitely wasn't going to be a fan of the same team as my mom. It wouldn't have been cool. The Magic were cool at the time. Marv Albert had them on NBA on NBC seemingly every weekend, so I was able to catch a lot of the games. Shaq and Penny in all the national TV commercials. It was an easy match. |

You certainly pick some terrible franchises to root for. It is shocking the Cubs finally won a title. |

Looking at that 2003 Magic team where McGrady's VORP was 8.7 and the next one was Darrell Armstrong at 1.9. |
