Ok guys, here it is!

The toughest series the Bulls had to face in their run. Biggest highlight was Reggie spinning in circles at the end of Game 4

Game 2 at the UC on NBC Sports Net NOW! Tom Dore and Red on the call.

I dont know where Game 1 went. There was no damn game last night. When was it shown?

They did the same thing with the Hoarnet series I think. Started with Game 2.

Anyway, tune in!

Michael vs Reggie!

Bulls had to face a gauntlet evey damn year. These teams were tough.

I didn't know teams were allowed to produce local telecasts all the way through the third round. You'd think Stern would have had all eyeballs on NBC by then.

Miller hit so many prayers to extend that series.

I was at Game 5 of this series. I believe The Wallflowers sang the National Anthem.

It was peak '90s.

Reggie Miller is a legend. YouTube highlights of Pacers vs Nets in the playoffs in like 2001 or 2002.

He must have been around 35 at the time. This is after all the heroics of the 90s including the famous 8 points in 2 minutes or whatever it was in MSG. So you think that's all in the past now and he should get out of the way to make room for the new guys.

Pacers down by three with seconds left in the road in the playoffs. Miller banks in a three at the buzzer to send the game to overtime. Last seconds in OT. Pacers down two. Miller drives and dunks on three people to tie the game. This is Reggie Miller, not exactly a high flyer. Awesome.

Just found it. 30 sec video. Well worth the watch.

I miss how simple the scorebugs were in the early 2000s. Too much crap going on now.

I remember this series well....
Bird was Coach
Reggie Miller was really fucking good.
A Young Jalen Rose was also a pretty important player.

After confirming that I noticed Fred Hoiberg was also on that Pacers team

He finally got his revenge on the Bulls all those years later.

Game 3 on NOW guys!

This is where Michael finally starts to face adversity.

I think the Bulls underestimated them a little bit, as they had a chance to win both games 3 and 4 and came up empty.

I believe this was one of the first years of Conseco Fieldhouse too.

Let's see.

Nope. Market Square. Explains why it's so loud.

Harp's gotta take that 3!

He's a good shooter, they needed to use his 3-point shot more.

I forgot the Pacers were still at Market Square in '98, I thought they'd moved to the Fieldhouse at the same time that they switched from the FloJo uniforms to the pinstripe uniforms.

I dont remember Smits being that huge. Somewhat of a freak. Very few guys are able to blcok Pip straight up, but he did

The Bulls just always seem to get the rebounds. Yes they play hard and create their own fortunes, but also it just seems like the ball bounces their way too. Stray balls ending up in the hands of small guys like Burrell and Randy Brown.

I love when the crowd gets loud when the Pacers do something good, and Isaiah Thomas has to yell loud to talk over the crowd when he tries to explain what happened. It's hilarous!

Latest example was Pip's turnover forced by Antonio Davis. Pay attention to this as the series goes on. It's funny!

I distinctly remember watching national broadcasts exclusively after the first round back then.

The Pacers. MJ hit another 3 in the last minute to bring it within 2.

But the Pacers prevailed by 2.

Unbelievable, the Bulls were down about 10 and somehow in the 3rd quarter they turned it around and are dominating. Amazing how they always attack the boards and get the rebounds and loose balls.

Hard to believe they didnt win this game as they are up 6 now. MJ 9 of 13 and Reggie 1 of 9 shooting.

Luc and Tony were so underrated. They just make clutch plays at the right time.

what a game. Pacers had a little surge to finish the 3rd Q and now have pulled ahead by one 70-69.

Yeah they were. All of those teams had HOFers on them who played very tough and hated the Bulls and wanted to knock them off. It was really that last time teams actually had a chance to compete with some good drafts and smart trades. It just isn't the same anymore with the stars running the league as the prima donnas that they are.

Yeah. I think if Kukoc were on virtually any other team he'd have been a star. He went to a veteran team and they resented him because of Krause and the notoriety that Krause brought him in with. They don't win three additional titles without Mr. Kukoc.
