So has this guy opted out with his Player Option yet?

He turns only 25 next month. He reminds me alot of Shawn Marion. I just wonder how much he will likely earn on the free agent market.

I'd like to see him end up with the Bull or the Sun (yes, I know it's sad, but I'm a bigfan of both)

Wallace is a really good player, and I think his best position is SF. I think he'll get better than a mid-level contract, and he's not a position of need for the Bulls - though I agree with you, the guy is a freak athlete, and has a ton of upside.

On a much lesser scale, if you can get these guys cheap, I also like these diamonds? in the rough as Free Agents this year:

Steve Blake PG Denver
Chuck Hayes PF Houston
Mikki Moore PF/C New Jersey

Blake is going to get some offers...He played well for Denver, and he's a nice complement player.

Moore will also get a nice contract, but I don't want the Bulls to be that team.

I'm indifferent toward Hayes. I wouldn't give him the mid-level.

It's a bit early to make a call on Wallace. I think Charlotte would like to use their cap space on Carter, and if he resigns with Jersey, then perhaps Rashard. They'll also be hoping for Corey Brewer to fall to them at 8. If none of the above happens, then Wallace will get paid. Otherwise, he might get stuck w/ an MLE contract, probably in a situation where he has an early opt out and can try the market again.

I think he gets more than the mid-level...
