I didn't like him when he started at U of I. However, he really seemed to have learned to work hard after not being a one and done. I bet this motivates him even more. He has intelligence and physical gifts so I expect him to be a guy who continues to ascend. Am I wrong to think he can be just as good as White?

Patrick Williams and the only 2 guys in the league that he does not hate are Lebron and Jimmy Butler. The very same Jimmy Butler last seen selling out against "soft as bird shit Giannis" In the first round of the playoffs this season.. Wonder how that not so keen analysis is holding up right these days.

At 38 yeah. I always had doubts about him being a first rounder but as a 2nd round pick its fine.

I pull for him as a local kid and also as someone that I doubted every step of the way. Saw him after his Freshman year of High School and never thought he was anything special.

I commend him because he has been extremely productive at every level he has played. I think he can be a solid backup. It's just that he doesn't really do anything at an NBA level as a player. He really isn't above average at anything and he isn't all that athletic either.

He is a smart kid and a tough player though. He will stick off of that alone. Also good size for a combo guard too.

agree he is ok as a 2nd rounder, but seeing that Miles McBride went two picks earlier maybe there was something that CHI could've done to move up a bit. McBride looks to be a much better player.

Also, Sharife Cooper didn't go to #48. He looks to be exactly the type of creative playmaker Chicago could use.

I'm impressed that they basically just have him as a spot-up 3 shooter because that was probably the weakest part of his offensive game.

The guy is a worker. He wants to be good. His 3 game is already better and once he puts some more beef on, he could be long-time guy. NBA guy, not LTG.

If they have to respect him on the 3 and run at him, he's got a good game on the dribble and mid-range.
