Let’s fuckin go. Can’t wait to get this 5 seed and get swept by the Heat. A new era is upon us. Looking forward to the postseason once again. It’s always darkest right before dawn and dawn is upon us my friends. |

They'll be a three seed. A couple of breaks and they'll make the ECF. Its a new dawn, you'll learn to love these guys if the Bulls win playoff games. |

I’m not a Bernstein guy. Not a titles or you’re a loser guy. Joakim Noah’s one of my favorite players in Bulls history (also not as old as many of you old fucks) and his game 7 against the Nets deserves a statue. I’ll love them if they show heart. We haven’t seen that in 4-5 years on the Bulls. |

We haven’t seen that in 4-5 years on the Bulls. The team that lost in the 1st round to the Celtics with Gordon, Heinrich, Noah, etc., was my favorite bulls team since Jordan. I’m just not clear where this team is as exciting. Part of losing in the playoffs is hope for the future. Signing old guys to make it happen kind of negates that point. |

Might win a playoff series. Of course I’d rather go into the season thinking they have a shot at the finals but that wasn’t a realistic possibility no matter what they did so I’ll settle for watching my favorite team with (finally) a cast of good players. |

There wasn’t much hope for the future when Noah channeled his inner Tim Duncan in game 7. We knew the future was shot but Noah wasn’t willing to let go. Made it special. There’s always a chance for something special when you get in the playoffs. This team has that now. Big difference is that team with Noah was all heart and soul outside of Rose and this team looks like all flash and no soul. I’m interested to see if they can flip that narrative. |

Can’t even think of a bigger moment we saw it as a Bulls fan since 98. Your post is just factually wrong my man. |

I just don’t have the same warm & fuzzies for the Nate Robertson series as I do for the multiple triple overtime losses starring Ben Gordon. Different strokes I suppose… Young guys with upside make it interesting (for me). Maybe it’s the way the NBA has changed, but stitching together an above average roster with vets doesn’t get the blood pumping. |

If you call that the Nate Robertson series and not the Joakim Noah series we just got fundamentally different opinions on what it means to be a Bulls fan. I believe you are more of a Bernstein type. I can enjoy a sports team for what it’s worth and what it meant to watch it without trying to archive it historically or hope for the future. |

I’m not a ‘you play to win championships’ guy if that’s what you’re suggesting. I like entertainment, but I connect more when I think there’s room to go somewhere. Hence my appreciation for the ‘09 Bulls v. the ‘13 Bulls. |

Never liked Noah so I’ll allow it. Hated him at Florida. Hated the pick. Hated when he got good. Happy when he left. Finally rewarded when he was too injured to play well. Edit: wait, why are we talking bout the ‘13 Bulls v. any other sub-championship playoff team? |

DPOY and 4th place MVP candidate. Fucking amazing career. Build a statue for that man outside the UC. Joakim Noah, no matter what. |

That’s your favorite bulls team that didn’t win it all? Maybe a new topic, but I’d go ‘09, ‘10, ‘04, ‘11…probably in that order. |
