Mitchell Robinson work for anyone? 7 footer - 8pts 8 rebs almost 2 blocks per game. Quote: The Bulls #1 target in free agency (after Lavine) will be Mitchell Robinson.
The Bulls were close to trading for Mitchell last trade deadline but ultimately decided to wait for free agency, similar to when they signed Lonzo instead of trading for him. |

Like every other signing, it depends on cost. But he fills a need so sure. |

Definitely fills a need, and with his athleticism probably could play him some with Vooch |

I think you need two Mitchell Robinsons and then another shooter or two. |

Great. But the Bulls will have to get more creative than that. DeAndre Ayton interest anyone? I have a feeling this NBA offseason is going to be wild. I’m not sure Durant and/or Kyrie will remain in Brooklyn. |

I'm a Lavine fan but the Bulls have to move him. I'd also bounce Ball too if he is healthy. And of course Coby. Bulls make those 3 moves and they will be much more competitive next year. The worst thing that they could is sign Lavine to a Max deal. Or close to a max deal. If they do that they will be screwed for years to come. |

Lavine is not a max player on a competitive team. If you made him the #1 on any of the conference finals teams would they still be there? I think they need a complete rebuild. Vuc needs to GTFO. Demar will never be better than he was this year. They’re a few years off and few of these guys will be on the roster if/when they’re competitive. |

Derozan has an option after next year and probably will be gone in 2. Neither are part of the long term plans. Sign and trade with Lavine is their best play. He is the only guy on the roster with any real trade value other than Patrick Williams. Move him now and you can get real assets back. Pay him max or close to max money and you guarantee yourself no better than 6 place in the conference going forward. |

DeRozan isn't in his 20's, but a mid-range game ages well. The Bulls should talk to Portland and the Suns as soon as possible about a Lavine deal. I wouldn't be opposed to kicking the tires on AD. |

There’s maybe one guy on this roster who could be part of a team that competes for anything meaningful. May not be in Basketball Hell but Basketball Purgatory feels appropriate for this group. |

It all depends on if Williams becomes the player they think he can. |

The Bulls would have beaten Milwaukee if Lavine was 100 percent. People forget he was basically at 75% capacity since January. |

Not sure what your point is. The Bulls are better than the Middleton-less Bucks if Lavine was 100 percent. |

If a perfect bulls team might be better than a Bucks team absent their second option, they need to retool. That’s not a contender. |

That's fine but a different argument. I don't think the Bulls at perfect health can beat GS but they can beat Boston. If they add a big then they can beat Miami. |

Is there a single player on this roster you’d take over Boston’s starters? I have a very hard time buying this Bulls team could beat the Celtics as currently constituted. |

I'd def take Zach over Brown. DeMar is better than him this year too. Bulls crushed Boston early in the year. |

I understand completely why they made the moves they made last season. None of that bothered me actually. Well other than Ball. And the "one guy plays for anything meaningful is fallacious since no one really knows for sure. I'm looking at a Conference finals where Max Strus and P. J Tucker are starting. Last year who knew that guys like Robert Williams, Grant Williams and Derrick White would be "playing for anything meaningful". The good thing about the Bulls is that they are headed in the right direction. No one wants a constant state of "rebuild". Which is what they were just last year. |

Tatum is cool but he's also done nothing postseason wise. He just choked tonight too against a beatable Heat team. I don't fear Tatum if he can't beat a crippled Jimmy Butler. |

Tatum's stat line from the other night. 30 pts on 75% shooting from the field. 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Some "choke" job aye? |
