I think he can but Collins is clearly better (and I mean WAY better) in this fast pace style. But Vuc has value as a big presence in the post and he actually blocked 3 shots last night, proving to me that he could have been doing that all along and is aware that his minutes and (and trade value) are in jeopardy now!
