If you want links I'll post em later, but I'm lazy right now, but:

-Skiles says Gordon is having the best summer he's EVER seen a player have
-Sounds like Skiles was ripping on Tyrus' work ethic or just conditioning this summer? Basically saying his 700 or whatever jumpshots a day was a myth. Very weird to read the way he said it.
-Kirk feels fresh

Here's the Tyrus link since I think it's the most interesting one:

Quote:
Thomas keeps working: Asked Tuesday whether Tyrus Thomas has improved his jump shot during the summer, coach Scott Skiles replied, "You mean the supposed 700-800 shots he was taking a day?

"It would be nice if he can make perimeter shots. But he's got to be able to sustain effort first through a quarter, a game or even a practice, for that matter. He's improving. But when you see a guy's athleticism like that, you always want more. So we're just trying to nudge him in the right direction."

Sam Smith, aka Tyrus hater, also rips on Tyrus' work ethic. He thinks Noah could start over Tyrus

That's strange because Tyrus was supposedly tearing up the summer league a few months ago.

I think Tyrus will be an awesome player in a few years. Its nice to see Gordon getting that much praise from Skiles. He has been improving his defense and ball handling the past year.

Yeah, I'm a happy camper if Ben Gordon can add more facets to his game and become more than just the hot / cold shooter that he is. With his limited height for his position, he needs to be able to contribute in other ways.

His footwork and court awareness in the low post have definitely improved though. I didnt see a difference in shooting in the first game, but I definitely noticed how much more comfortable he looks on the court than last year.

So he finally took his mom's advice and started douching.
Now just watch him become more confident too.
