I know everybody is concerned with the Bulls slow start. So am I. But have you looked at the East. Only 3 teams have winning records. The 3 division leaders - Detroit, Boston, and Orlando. That's it. 9 teams in the West have winning records. |

So what's your point? The Bulls are one of the worst teams in a crappy conference? That's reassuring. |

I'm saying it's easier to make up ground in this conference. They still have no chance to win a title. |

Don't worry. We have Joakim Noah. He will flap his arms and will us to victory. |

Still, you could say the same thing of many of the teams that are at or below .500. I don't think the Bobcats will maintain a .500 pace. In my opinion, the only truly awful teams are the 76'ers and the Knicks. The Heat will probably be bad too, but now that they have Wade back they should get a little better. Many of the teams riding the fence right now- Hawks, Raptors, Nets, etc. are not bad teams. I think there's a lot more parity in the league this year. I'm not saying the West isn't better, just that there won't be many 'easy' games in the East. |

I agree with that. It seems that the "any given night" rule is in effect this year. There are few guaranteed wins for any Eastern team this year. |

I know this is going to sound like I'm harping on Beardown, but it's really a generalization...which is worse. But really, fans...come on. What is the point of taking the position of saying "Hey, our team may be bad, but there are a lot of bad teams in our division/conference so we may be the best of the bad?" Doesn't that propogate the idea that you're content with how bad your team is? I mean, to me it sends a message to the organization to continue to be lazy and put out crap because...hey, we're the best bad there is! I hate the fact that my Sixers are terrible. If they were 7-13 and leading the division, I'd be pissed that they're not a better team. Because when they play an actual GOOD team, they'll be KILLED. I'd really rather save the embarrassment. Same goes with the Cubs and Saints...I want to see a better team compete, not a bad one get lucky. Everything is so dilluted in professional sports these days...we should demand better. Because we're paying more for less... |

You're right. I'm just saying the bad start doesn't cost you as much in this conference. I also said that the Bulls can't win a title. |

Small consolation, but consolation nevertheless. I am always happy with the home version of the game. |
