Why is it the Bulls can only manage to beat up on Charlotte and Detroit? Why is it that bum squads like the Knicks can come to the west side and embarass the home team but when the Pistons step on the floor the team suddenly has it all figured out? Chris "Dumbass" Duhon is making smart plays with his hands, BG is dropping shots like its open gym practice, Thabo looks like he actually knows how to play, even Noah looked almost like a pro...almost.

Why does Detroit bring the A game out of the Bulls? And I don't wanna hear "they match up well" because I don't buy it. There are other teams that the Bulls should match up well with, but they just don't seem to care. This team has lost a ton of games because of a lack of hustle, lack of effort, and lack of teamwork. But when the Pistons come calling, everything falls into place and it becomes a 12 man united front. If that could happen on a regular basis, maybe the Bulls could sit at 23 wins instead of 23 losses right now. Goddammit this team is frustrating to root for.

Well, since Boston is gonna get the 1 seed the Pistons are guaranteed the 2 seed.

So if the Bulls get the 7 seed they upset them in the first round. Right?

Obviously that won't happen. The Bulls were 4-1 last year against the Pistons in the regular season and had no chance in the playoffs.

Well they at least made it a series when they pulled off those two blowouts. Really, the whole series last season was all blowouts... and we were on the losing end. If the Bulls manage to make the playoffs as a 7 seed, I think they could pull off 1 game, but anything past that is a stretch. The Pistons don't half-step once April comes around.

In other news, I went to Shadow Bar tonight and Chanuncey and Sheed were there. Sheed was working some chick by the bar all night. He stuck out like a sore thumb with that beard hovering above everybody else. I'm 6'5" and I still had to tilt my head up to look at his face.
