After seeing Paxson's press conference, I think he has to go. He said that he made the necessary upgrades in the offseason to help the team go further than the 2nd round. Actually Pax, if you had made the necessary upgrades, you would have traded for KG or Kobe. Everyone in this town knew they weren't going to win anything except Paxson. Now his 2 untouchables, Deng and Gordon, are probably going to be leaving via free agency and they won't get shit. Paxson really has no plan, and next year won't get much better. They really should start fresh next year with a new coach and GM.

Not to totally absolve Paxon here, but this is a prime example of the players totally failing here. Yes, Pax needs some blame, but this team had no will to play hard, much less win, from day 1. New coach and its the same story. Yet for the most part, this is the same team that won almost 50 games last year and swept the World Champions in the first round of the playoffs. Nobody expected the Bulls to be this bad, and now that they are there is no quick fix.

I agree he has to go. He was all over the place during the press conference. I hate to agree with Berstein but they're always talking about how he sounds so defeated, that's exactly what he sounded like today. He wasn't answering questions, just giving out random information. It was really strange

Actually I bought into the idea that they would be better this year than last. I fully expected both Deng & Thomas to improve & Wallace to fit in better. I also felt Joe Smith was an upgrade and that Noah would improve the bench. Wrong on all counts - except perhaps Smith. :?

I thought it was funny that he was standing in the exact position that made it look like he had devil horns because of the backdrop behind him.
