Post subject: | Tyrus Thomas - Suspended |
Thomas was suspended for 2 games because he's a moron. * G.M. John Paxson suspened second-year forward Tyrus Thomas two games for an unexcused absence from Wednesday's practice. Thomas will serve the suspension during Chicago's next two games, sitting out the game against Cleveland on Thursday at the United Center and Friday at Boston. This is the second internal discipline doled out to Thomas in his two seasons with the Bulls. Paxson fined Thomas $10,000 last season for telling the Tribune that he was merely going to the league's All-Star weekend and participate in the dunk contest for "the free money." It's also the second internal discipline doled out to a Bull this season. Interim coach Jim Boylan suspended rookie Joakim Noah for a verbal tirade against assistant Ron Adams at the Jan. 11 morning shootaround in Philadelphia. Noah's teammates, in a vote organized by then-Bulls Ben Wallace and Adrian Griffin, later voted to extend Noah's suspension to a second game. |

Now that Griffin and Wallace are gone, I guess Johnny Jumpshot has to do the suspending now huh? |

Wait, I'll have a comment on this as soon as I make my entry in the "Chicago All Time Busts" section. This guy is proving to be a real douche. |

Tyrus Thomas is a kid with million-dollar athleticism and a ten-cent brain. The world could be his if he wants it. If he gave a shit, he could be an awesome SF-PF in the NBA. Unfortunately he's a mental midget and he just doesn't have his head together. Basketball is more than being able to "jump out of the gym" so to speak. |

That's right. When Scottie talks, people should listen. |

A few games ago, I thought Tyrus finally "turned the corner" so to speak. His jump shot was developing nicely, cut down on the bad fouls and turnovers a bit. Then I'm left scratching my head on Tuesday at the UC, watching him make several bone headed plays in a row. Now this... I don't know about this cat, but I hope he can get it together... |

I would not be shocked to see Tyrus moved in the offseason. It seems he is wearing out his welcome and noah has passed him. |

I hope they are patient with him, but I'm guessing the season the Bulls are having, and some of his immaturity may cause Paxson to include him in a deal. |

Hope the door hits him on the ass when he leaves... |

Based on his actions, I'm assuming he's not very bright. |

This whole bloody team doesn't seem to be taking this season or team management seriously. Fire sale! Ain't no one on this team worth keeping right now. |

It doesn't matter this is tyrus's last season with the bulls, I see him being paired with hinrich to get a big man who can score inside. |

Fire sale! Ain't no one on this team worth keeping right now. Joakim Noah is undoubtedly worth keeping. I wouldnt mind keeping Thablo around either, he's showing promise when given time. |

Umm, the only package you could get in return for Hinrich and Thomas is a bag of dogshit. Neither one has much value right now. |
