As any player in any league, a player is only worth so much and when his salary takes more away from the overall resources of the team, than that player is now a detriment to the team. IN Kirk's case, I never liked his contract.

One reason they paid him was his "LEADERSHIP" as the "CAPTAIN".

This guy has been virtually worthless as a team leader, thus this guy can go too.

Problem is, Jerry and Jonny love this guy. He is the alleged picture of defense they want.

I did ask Steve Schanawald if he is sending apology cards to season ticket holders this year.

The Bulls actually do send great gifts all year.

This is his 5th year. He's improved each of his first 4 seasons. This year is the worst of his career. I think it's worse than his rookie year. That's horrible when you consider this should be the start of his prime. Yet he's regressing. Amazing.

yea KIRK SUCKS. the bulls desperately need leadership and consistancy both qualities he lacks, and last time i checked defense alone shouldnt be worth a starting pg position.

It's a tough situation. Kirk can start in this league, but it would need to be on a team with a big 2 guard. Him and Gordon just dont fit well together, one of them needs to go, and we need to find a pure PG ala Jose Calderon.
