Assuming they take Rose:

Derrick Rose
Kirk Hinrich or Nocioni?
Luol Deng
Drew Gooden
Joakim Noah

with
Ben Gordon, Tyrus Thomas, (Hinrich or Nocioni) playing other big minutes?

Does this look right?

I forgot(or at least blocked out of my mind) Hughes.

Someone obviously has to go. Too many guards.

The cool thing is, it's nothing but opportunities now. Pax can choose between Rose and Beasley, and he can adjust the rest of the roster accordingly.

I was already interested to see what Pax would do this offseason, but this is a wild-card I didn't even allow myself to consider. Now, all of a sudden, there's a million different ways to go. And real hope.

Hinrich is the odd man out. Gordon's too good a scorer off the bench, like manu ginobili.

And Gene Keady will lead them.

He's too busy picking Purdue to win every game on the Big Ten Network. :)

I'm not complaining but even I laugh at it.

Too bad he was wrong 3 other times. For as awesome as it was to win, it sucked just as much to lose a share of the title in the last week.

Maybe next year.

I agree with your comments - particularly since Hinrich could have some trade value. However, I'm afraid Gordon will never accept being a 6th man & thus may be outta here after next season. As a relatively low paid asset he would have to be packaged with a veteran to get anything of value (probably Gooden since nobody would take Hughes).

Ha Ha, I would love to see this backcourt, but you are dreaming my friend.

Hinrich and Rose can work.

Hinrich will guard the 2 guards. He's done fairly well at that. Now, he got tired on offense because of the tough defensive assignments.

Hinrich doesn't have to bring up the ball and be the point guard any more with Rose here. No more dribbling around for 20 seconds with no purpose. He can be a spot up shooter off screens or when Rose gets doubled. He can be more of a slasher without the ball. Rose will find him cutting and won't miss that small, short opening.

Hinrich and Rose could work. I really think so.

You gotta trade Gordon. He just doesn't fit with Rose here. You can't start both of them. Gordon can't guard 2 guards. He can't guard point guards either. Bulls can't afford to pay Gordon either. You have Hughes big contract too.

With Rose and Hinrich you have two great defensive guards.
