Hate the be the buzzkill, but I can't believe all the excitement I'm seeing over this.

Will the team be better? Sure.

Not next year but if Rose lives up to expectations then it wont be long. 3 years ago New Orleans was a joke of a team.

In a few years, you better believe they will be with a couple decent moves.

There are two franchise changing players available. The Bulls just have to pick the one they would rather have.

Take a look at what New Orleans looked like before Chris Paul.
Take a look at what the Utah Jazz looked like before Deron Williams.

There is no reason to believe that Rose won't be able to do the same.

I think the Bulls can be a top 3 seed in the East. I'm not kidding. Christ. We won 49 one season ago.

Rose will be an impact player right away. He's coming to a team that has some good talent.

Maybe with a franchise PG Luol Deng will not look as lost on offense. He's dying to play with someone who can move the ball and setup a professional offense Im guessing.

I hope Paxson uses this gift as an opportunity to hopefully remold the team, and build it around whoever they draft. I'm still hoping for major changes to this roster.

Only Nocioni (5), Hinrich (5), and Larry Hughes (3) have more than 2 years left on their contracts. Which means they will have lots of those expiring contracts that other GMs like to trade for.
