anybody have thoughts on the tendinitis diagnosis?

Tendenitis sucks...and, It shouldn't really effect him during the season.

I'm not going to lose any sleep over it right now. Derrick should be ready to go at full strength come training camp if not sooner.

I wasn't aware until late this afternoon that Derrick would be training against the guys that will be in Beijing next month....

It's a repeated use injury that is more common than is reported.

I am sure there are at least 2 other players on the Bulls that have had tendinitis within the past year.

Don't worry. I never remember any player who had a career threatened because of tendinitis.

I'm more concerned with what caused this tendinitis. I fear that there is something wrong somewhere else that causes excessive engagement of the quad on his tendinitis side. On the bright side, Dr. Cole (Bulls doc) is one of the premier knee guys in the world. They should be able to figure it out.
