Bulls fans, how's this for a opener? The 2008-09 NBA regular season schedule is on the street, and the Vinny Del Negro experiment tips off October 28th at the United Center when the Bulls host their former head coach Scott Skiles & the Milwaukee Bucks. Talk about all kinds of potential storylines going into opening night alone.

Bulls versus Bucks is one game the Bulls may actually win...

I have long thoughts about Skiles actually succeeding in Milwaukee...I don't think he will.

What's your definition of success?

Because they are the Milwaukee Bucks, Skiles needs to get his team back into the NBA Playoffs and to win at least 1 playoff series. It's not much to ask, but if the Bucks actually land a marquee free agent or make a big trade, the expectations are raised. As for Vinny Del Negro, it's hard to say for someone who's never done this before. If Vinny gets this team back to the playoffs in his first season, given the 33 win bellyflop of a season ago, it would be an accomplishment.

Skiles succeeds everywhere he goes...it just takes time. They'll eventually be good.

Jamal Rose?
By the way, I'm a season ticket holder, so if you two (Hoff an' KC) ever need tickets, hit me up....I sell a decent amount, but if I've got 'em I'll letcha at 'em...the Bulls are better than last year. Watchable, I don't know yet, but better than last year...

CTF, I think the earlier post meant to type Derrick Rose, and typed Jamal Rose. Jamal "the Ballhog" Crawford was the last Bull to sport #1 on the team's white & red uniform, which is what Derrick will sport here.

I hope you don't think I'm being mean Shark, but as a message board police officer it's my duty to sit on my highhorse and judge the quality of what's posted. Consider it a public service.

I thought they made a Jamal Crawford / Jalen Rose hybrid clone for a second there.
