Lewis,Turkolgu, and Howard Oh My!Let's see how the Bulls front line competes tonight. I think they'll get killed!

While Derrick Rose appears to be the real deal and someone the Bulls can build around for the next decade or so, the Bulls' frontcourt has been terrible shooting the basketball lately! I think it's another step up in class and I think the Magic wins by at least 14 points tonight at Amway Arena, that's what they call the "O-Arena" these days...

Shark, why are you here? I mean out of all the sports-related message boards you could've found, why did you have to find your way to this one?

Kid, that's where the Magic plays their home games, even though Amway Arena is a STUPID NAME for a building! :x

Hey Kid, get back on topic, will you? The Magic's gonna blow out the Bulls tonight, regardless of the stupid name of Orlando's arena!

I'm tucking my tail between my legs as we speak. That was unacceptable for a grammar / spelling police officer such as myself to make such an error. :(

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't Joakim Noah & Ben Wallace laughing on the bench, even though the Magic was beating the Bulls like a government mule in the first meeting down there in Orlando? :?

Rose again 1 assist, no free throws. Isn't distributing the ball what a point guard is supposed to do???? Maybe the other 9 NBA starters just aren't good enough for his greatness??????

I never said Gordon was the best player. I think Deng is the best player until Rose is ready to takeover full time.

Which one of Dungs 8 shots were great shots for 70 million he blows!

Great shot selection by Ben Gordon.

Why didn't Del Negro call a timeout on that possession? He refuses to take the t.o. when the Bulls are down by two with 20 seconds left, but then he takes one when they're down by 4 with about ten seconds remaining? I don't get it. On the second to last possession, it was obvious that the Bulls were rushing up the court in disorganized fashion. They needed to slow things down and get the ball into Rose's hands, but he never touched the ball. Gordon is a below average ballhandler/penetrator, and should never be relied upon to drive to the hoop in a game-ending situation. If you want him to take the last shot, he should be set up for a jumper coming off a couple of screens and should never, ever be allowed to create his own shot off the dribble. This was a terrible job of game management by Vinnie.

And another thing: that three-guard offense really seems to minimize Rose's strengths because Hinrich and/or Gordon handle the ball more frequently than Rose does. Bad idea.

I couldnt understand wtf Gordon was doing on that possession near the end of the game. The shot clock was off, you should hold for the last shot. Either you can make a two to force overtime, a three to win, or miss and go home. That was bad coaching by Vinny, and horrendous shot selection by Gordon. After fighting back from being down 17 points, you end the game like that?

That's exactly what I thought as he ran the ball up-court.

Agreed again. I saw that last night and turned to my friend and said "why the hell do they have three guards out there?"

You only get the assist if they make the shot.

...or at least get to touch the ball instead of having Hinrich dribble for 10 seconds at the top of the key or Gordon hog the ball.

Derrick Rose should have the ball on every possession he's out there.

What type of basketball philosophy is that exactly, and which teams employ this?

New Orleans, Los Angeles, and Cleveland for starters.

You could also add in the Heat, and the Suns.

So pretty much, the answer is good teams who have a guard as the best player.

So it's pretty much teams that don't win the Championship. Like the Celtics, Spurs and Pistons?
