Chicago's correspondents get the distinct feeling Vinny Del Negro may be the NBA's eighth head coach to get vaporized. I'm hearing Bulls managing partner Jerry Reinsdorf may soon varnish GM John Paxson. Toronto ended a seven-game slide Friday with a convincing, 20-point win at Chicago. Far be it from me to suggest the closing moments were uneventful, but Oprah took her second-half combo meal to go. |

Good. I'm sick of hearing the "Reinsdorf will never fire Pax" lines. The Bulls suck because of Paxson, not Vinnie. Not that I'd mind dumping Vinnie either, mind you. |

I still don't understand Paxson's rush to hire del Negro. I was hoping they would have waited to interview Thibodeaux - not that he would have done much better with this shit Paxson's assembled. |

I take what Peter Vecsey writes with a grain of salt...He's the New York equivalent of Sam Smith in my opinion, where a lot of NBA stories simply don't come to fruition. |
