So you give up Noce for a fatter, lazier, more abused, worse shooting version? Has Pax been abusing brain cell deteriorating substances lately?

Miller is a center, not a tweener. He's been averaging 12 ppg and 8 rpg this year. He shoots as good if not better than Noce and won't flop everytime.

I'm on record (obviously for anyone listening to B&B) as being in favor of this trade. Miller is a true center...

But he can hit a three in a critical situation and tank his way through the lane for a layup. How can you fault Pax for that?

Why would anyone hate this trade when it was made? Bulls got out of a shit deal in Nocioni and a worthless chump in Gooden and in return got back an expiring(possibly two if Salmons opts out) in Miller, who can still provide something and Salmons who is better the Deng. I think people didn't really know how good Salmons was or even who he was and just were upset Pax moved their guy Nocioni, who provided nothing this year for the Bulls other then ill advised shots at ill advised times and terrible defense.

Hopefully Luol Deng is next. With NOH looking to shake things up and Portland maybe still having a hard on for old Deng, something perhaps can be done.

you bring up a great name there, JGG. while there was all kinds of love for the Noch, would this series be what it was *with* him?

I don't even believe this team makes the playoffs if that trade isn't made. Salmons and Miller were huge down the stretch, especially with Deng being out. Our offense was MUCH better and it had to be since this team doesn't know what defense is.
