2nd place in the West Denver, Melo and Billups should beat the new look Bulls. 108-95 |

The Nuggets appear to have gotten the better of their trade with the Pistons with Chauncey Billups for Allen iverson to this point, while the Bulls' newcomers may have to wait until Sunday's 11a tipoff in Indianapolis vs. the Bill O'Reilly-looking Jim O'Brien and a Pacers' team minus All-Star Danny Granger. As for tonight, Billups and the Nuggets beat the shorthanded Bulls by 15. |

With only 8 in uniform, the Bulls beat the Nuggets 116-99 at United Center, and fans got free Big Macs to boot! Ben Gordon led the way with 37, while Luol Deng & Tyrus Thomas each had double-doubles in this win...Tyrus had 21 w/12 rebounds, while Luol had 20 w/12 rebounds of his own in the Bulls' second straight win after the All-Star Break. |

Impressive game for the Bull. Probably the best of the year. I didn't want to say anything before the trade deadline, but I've been fairly impressed by the play of Noah and Thomas of late. With them still on the squad, I'm hopeful we can get something out of them after all. Gordon was awesome tonight; when he's on he's an excellent player. It's funny: Rose had one of his worst games of the year, IMO; yet with their best player having his worst game of the year, and only 6 other players getting any meaningful playing time otherwise, the Bulls were still able to defeat the team with the second best record in the West. |

Couple this improbable win w/ LeBron's smack-down of the Bucks, and this was one productive night for the Buls. I guess. If you really want to see this team make the playoffs. But, let's throw a couple of 'if's' in this thing: Say KG's knee injury is real bad, like screws up his season bad, and the Celts end up the 2-3 seed. The Bulls are not that far from #6/#7 seed - I'm not sayin' I'm just sayin'. The Celts are far from being the same team without KG. |

So what do we blame this on? Rafer Alston ('Skip-to-my-Lou' to all my homies) is traded to Orlando 24 hours AFTER the Bulls trade for Brad Miller, but Miller is unavailable for the Bulls while Alston helps Orlando to a win? What gives? |

Blame it on Sacramento, they haven't given the players they got their physicals by the time the Bulls played. So Miller and Salmons could not play until the other players cleared |
