On Comcast, Jerry released a statement about 'Red'. Nothing about Norm... What a douchebag. |

There has never been much love from Reinsdorf to Norm. And when I hear the question "will the Bulls put Norms # in the rafters" the question is really "Will Reinsdorf put Norms numbers in the rafters". There is nobody else that says Yes or No to stuff like this for the Sox or Bulls. it is really simple, he says Yes or No. No meetings, no board of directors, he makes a call and it is done or not done. Even though if you listen to most of Norms closer friends they say he would not want it now, because either you do it while he can appreciate it or you don't do it at all, I think Reinsdorf will just to help create history of the team to another ERA, which is for the wrong reason unfortunately/ |

If the Bulls upper brass has genuine regret for not giving him his fair due while he was alive, why not put out the extra effort and make up for it with a huge dedication later? With GENUINE regret and a sincere effort to make up for it, Norm would approve from above. Boy, these guys are off to a bad start. WGN'S Kaplan calls out the Bulls for not sending any current players to Norm's funeral. http://wgnradio.com/index.php?option=co ... Itemid=233 http://caster.wgnradio.com/podcasts/jwp ... 090309.mp3 |
