This team actually showed they could play really good defense in the 4th Quarter coming back from 17 down.

Good to see D. Rose take over the game and make some big plays down the stretch. And as much as it pains me to say it, Noah played a really good 4th Quarter as well.

I was hoping for the complete Artest meltdown after the game, but all we got was the mini version. GET THE HELL OUT OF HIS WAY, MUTUMBO!

Dikembe as the voice of reason. Wow. The world has gone weird...

I never understood the hate for Noah. He's a goof.. so what? I'm not saying the guy's a good NBA player, but he's at least serviceable. The level of hate that surrounds Noah just seem so out of proportion to his place on the Boo.

I think with a lot of people it's probably the hair and the overall "free-spirit" attitude.

I dislike him because he is a self-proclaimed "hustle" guy who by all accounts has a very poor work ethic.

I don't hate him. I don't care that he is a goof. He just has not shown to me that in the last couple years he is really interested in playing basketball at a high level.

Now with that said, over the last few weeks he has been better and he actually looks like he has hit the weight room. So maybe he is going to be better.

I'll also disagree with TM. I think Noah plays hard...he just isn't very talented. He's also poorly-conditioned.

See, all that's been said of Noah in this thread doesn't match the apparent level of hate associated with the guy. He's the butt of every joke, as if he were the reason the Bulls suck or something.

He is a lot better than I thought he would be. He also appears to be playing hard when he is on the court. I think someone else said something similar about his play recently. Why do you feel he isn't playing hard?

It's not that I feel he doesn't play hard while playing in games; rather, it's what he does--or apparently doesn't do--before and after the games that bothers me. He shows up to practice late, doesn't do any offseason conditioning, doesn't work to improve his skills (like Tyrus has been doing a lot lately), etc. In other words, Noah wants the image of being a "hustle" guy, but isn't willing to do the work to earn that reputation.

This comment doesnt make sense to me. What NBA player would be more respected as a person than Dikembe?
