The only red fans will be seeing will be the United Center floor, as BOTH teams will be wearing green for St. Patrick's Day tonight on the CW. Even though Kevin Garnett is out, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and the team that normally wears green, the Celtics, win this one by 12.

No. Bulls gave up 121 points. They didn't win by much. You can say best offensive game but the Orlando win was probably the best game. It was a blow out vs a good team. The New Orleans win was better than this too. There have been other better wins. KG was out tonight too.

Wow, just saw the final score. What did the Bulls do well?

Score points.

Salmons had 38. Miller had a great 2nd half - Rebounds and scoring.

Wow was Gordon handcuffed on the sidelines? I cannot imagine someone on this team getting enough shots off with him playing to score 38.

Bulls are tough to beat at home. 7 in a row and 21-10 for the year.

He had foul trouble early. Gordon still had 18.

It looked like a classic NBA game, lots of points & little defense. The Celtics simply aren't the same on the defensive end minus Kevin Garnett, who is still out with a right knee strain for another 2 weeks or so. I also noticed Leon Powe, #0 in Celtic white & green, was limping and wasn't long for this one...It appeared as if he hurt his leg or ankle and only played 4 minutes tonight.

Who-oul Deng?

Salmons is the man.

Yeah, Salmons is good stuff. Unlike Deng, he looks to take the ball to the hoop and finishes strong, while expecting contact. Also unlike Deng, he shoots the 3 well.

My other thought watching this game is that Noah continues to look good. Stacy was right: that play where there was the fumbled hand-off between Gordon and Noah where Noah took the ball to the hoop and slammed it home would not have happened early in the season. It seems that perhaps Noah is finally getting a feel for the NBA game. He still needs to put on more muscle mass if he has hopes of being much of a defender, IMO.

Noah has been playing well. And it looks to me like he has actually been hitting the weights and getting bigger and in better shape. Maybe he isn't a bust.

Is it wrong to simply wonder if this is one of those late season "trap" games? (As in)It really means little in the grand scheme of things, but provides false hope for next year for the faithful.

Salmons is an unexpected surprise, but if Mr. 70MM comes back healthy, someone becomes a real problem, really quickly. Ben Gordon is still a free agent in waiting with only one skill, one that he believes the or-gain-I-zation discounts. There is nothing in the draft(except the kid from OU), nor readily available in free agency.

I don't believe that the Bulls have much of a shot with the FAs in the 2010 class(& at full boat $ I don't want Nowitzki, Amare or Bosh), which leaves hopes pinned to the trade wizardry of Paxson?!?

There has been some "nice" individual improvement in stretches, but simply "nice" doesn't get you a damn thing in the playoffs.

When this trade was made before the NBA Trading Deadline, the PBP voice of the Sacramento Kings called "Mully & Hanley in the Morning" and gave John Salmons a ringing endorsement as that team's best player. So far, it looks like John has been the goods since the trade. Only question...Does he make Luol Deng, Kirk Hinrich and their contracts or Ben Gordon expendable this summer?
