Wonder how much Kobe will put up tonight

Midway through the 2nd quarter, Kobe's got only 4 points, and the Bulls (!) lead the Lakers by 14...Yeah, you read it right. John Salmons has 13 & Derrick Rose 10 so far as the Bulls try to win their 3rd straight win I believe for only the second time this season, and 8 in a row at United Center...

So the Lakers decided to take the night off?

I hope not, Nas. I heard Phil Jackson on WGN's "Bulls Eye" pregame tonight mention something about an International Ice Show taking over STAPLES Center this week, resulting in this 9 game road trip that the Lakers are starting this eve...

Looks like they enjoyed the nightlife last night.

   Spmack, the Bulls had 3 days to prepare for tonight's "2 WGN" game as I like to call it this eve vs. Kobe and the Lakers. If you have DIRECTV like I do, it's a "2 WGN" game because it's on CW 9 & WGN America, DIRECTV 307...

So much for that! :( A hot start fizzled like a warm Coke in the second half as the Bulls' defense completely disappeared in a 117-109 loss to the Lakers at United Center. :( John Salmons had 30, Derrick Rose 25, but Kobe had 28 and the fans yelled "MVP! MVP!" despite the Lakers' #24 going only 10-for-25 from the field...A 14-0 Laker run early in the 4th quarter put this one away for the NBA's best team out West, the start of a 9 game road trip. Luckily for the Bulls, the Bucks lost to the Blazers 96-84 in Milwaukee, the Bobcats were 108-83 losers to the Pacers in Charlotte, and the Knicks also lost 110-103 to the Magic in Orlando. The Bulls maintain a 1.5 game lead for the last Eastern Conference playoff spot, and a return visit to the Verizon Center in Washington Monday night on WCIU 26 "The U" and ESPN 1000 at 6p. I think we remember what happened the last time the Bulls were there, and so does President Obama...

Bulls got done in tonight by the Lakers scrubs in the 4th quarter. Farmar, Powell, Walton, and Vuajcic played key roles in that along with turnover after turnover from the Bulls. Looked like they just ran out of gas halfway into the third and the Lakers took control like a true championship contending team.

And congrats on your 19,000th post, Nas. Maybe you can hit the clubs with Beardown to celebrate.(translation: all the white women will gravitate towards you and want to fuck because they hate beardown so much, that they won't pay him any attention and rather throw ass at his friend instead.)
