Don't know if it will end in regulation or not but:

BULLS 109, CELTICS 102

I am not too worried about the Bulls having no legs after game 1 vs. Orlando

Bucket - what's the good word?

Anyway, I think they are overplaying the whole 'the Celtics are tired' bit. Garnett pulls a Willis Reed but only appears for the layup line, Garden goes nuts and Bulls wither from the 6th man. Celtics by 12.

I am among the crowd who feels this game will be very anticlimactic. Either team wins big.

Key to this game:

Tyrus Thomas. Yeah, him. I'm calling out Tyrus Thomas right now. If the Bulls win this game or want to win, they're going to need a real contribution from T-Time other then some random block and ally oop then disappear. Similar to game one, if he can have a monster game I like the Bulls chances to win. I know everyone thinks this game will be anti-climatic and result in a blowout in Boston's favor, but nothing I've seen in this series besides that fluke 3rd game makes me believe that. If it is a blowout, it won't be because Boston stopped Chicago from hitting shots. It'll simply be because of timid turnovers, sloppy ballhandling, dumb offensive sets and offensive rebounding/second chance points.

I'm going out on the limb and say Thomas will step up with the 20/10 game and Bulls go on to play Orlando.

:salut:

I dont think this will be anticlimatic. I think it'll be decided in the final minute. If Ray is in the game then that could be trouble for us. Either way this has been the most exciting basketball series I can remember, even if it'll be an afterthought in the NBA landscape a month from now. I cant wait to see it.

Not exactly a huge, sorry HUGE Bulls/NBA fan, but I'm excited for this one.

Great night of sports on TV: Bulls game 7, Hawks game 2, and NASCAR. Oh yeah, and Chicago minor league baseball as well.

Gordon bailout shot after he appeared to double dribble was ruled a 2. Thought it was clearly a 3

Heinrich still missing when it counts. TO's,missed FT's...He's got to go.
To the Bulls C/PF combo's:try a rebound once in a while. Looks like Noah
& Thomas admire a lot of layups.

So. Still the greatest series of all time?

I don't watch much pre-playoff basketball. Are all the "stupid" turnovers just part of Rose's game or has he had more than normal this series?

Way to close to it to 7 at the end of the 3rd q.

Ewww.....

Bulls had their chance down the stretch but kept missing open shots and layups and failing to cover Eddie House, who by the way is the reason they won. I sense a lot of blame will go to Ben Gordon, but fuck that. Where was Salmons? Rose down the stretch? Invisible. And Vinny gave up on Tyrus way too soon and we once again see too much Brad Miller. Oh well. They took it one game longer then I thought they would, so props for that and not having to watch whatever the hell that was on WGN with Contreras.

Fuck.

This game was there for the taking. Bulls couldn't make a shot after the first quarter. That's not good.

I'm excited for their 3-13 start next year with subsequent rally to finish 42-40, and another first round exit at the hands of...the Celtics.
