The Bulls remain interested in Bosh, but Luol Deng would have to be part of a package going to the Raptors. The Raptors, privately, are acknowledging for the first time that they might need to trade Bosh, rather than risk losing him to free agency in 2010.

And I thought we'd have to pay someone to take Deng. Looks like the Raptors dont feel like they will be a player in the 2010 sweepstakes (and who would go there anyway?)

Can the Bulls trade Paxson for a bag of balls?

Pipe dream.

Why would Toronto make this trade when they would be better off if they just let Bosh walk away for nothing? No one is going to take Deng from us, the scam is over, everyone aside from idiot Pax knows that's one of the 5 worst contracts in the NBA.

deng's trade value isnt nill... not like the media is saying. teams around the league respect deng... there are teams out there that think deng would be a huge help to their team.

the bulls probably would have to cover part of his contract if he gets traded, it would be financially poor for us, but its not like NOBODY wants deng- thats just not true.

I disagree with that. I think you have it reversed. Its the media who claims that Deng is still a good player with value, but the GM's around the league know better and wouldn't touch his brittle body with a 10 foot pole.

really? i see your point, but i think the 5 years left on his contract is holding teams back much moreso then his injuries....

I don't think you can seperate one from the other. His constant injuries coupled with the fact that he still has 5 years left on his deal and then throw in his less than inspired play even when he is healthy. All of those are the reason why he has one of the 5 worst contracts in the NBA.

Nobody is mentioning Bosh's injury history as well. I am not saying that I wouldn't pull the trigger on this deal, but it is something that should be considered.
