It's not July 1st yet, and even that date means very little. I believe under the terms of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement with the NBA & its Players, there can't be ANY deals made for a couple weeks after the July 1st date that's supposed to technically open the league's offseason. Players can at least talk to teams, but they can't sign or make deals later in the month...

how do you trade what isn't yours? Gordon isn't a Bull, he's a UFA. The only way they could trade him is in a sign and trade and why would that happen? Those deals are usually reserved for guys getting max contracts because their former employer can give them more money than their new employer per the CBA. Case in point, the Pippen trade to Houston. But, since Gordon isn't getting anywhere near a max deal why would anyone try to trade for him when they could just go out on July 1 and sign him?

Yeah, a trade would make no sense. There's a 0% chance the Bulls do a S&T with Gordon. I'll be very interested to see the types of offers he gets.

i dont think bg7 is going to get a contract he thinks is fair. he probably will resign a bull.
