This goes way beyond Vinny! What have we heard from Garfield?
D.Rose is a dribble drive guy that will give you a double double ,nothing more nothing less.
Salmons isn't good
There bench is weak
They can't shoot free throws
TT is a bust.
What free agent wants to come here?

Where are all those posters who want to kiss the ass of one Jerry Reinsdorf?

I'll tell you who would be better once Vinny Del Negro gets his walking papers. Derrick Rose would be significantly better...There are guys who can help Derrick in his development, and if Avery Johnson is out of the Bulls' price range, Byron Scott recently worked with another point guard in Chris Paul down in New Orleans. He also coached Jason Kidd and a better New Jersey team to the NBA Finals a few years ago only to lose to the Lakers. Speaking of the Lakers, he has rings as a player, too.

They'd actually have a real head coach then.

Outstanding post Shark.

I thought Avery Johnson should have been the coach after Skiles in the first place.

Thanks, Dave. Unfortunately, Avery was earning way too much money by Mavericks' bossman Mark Cuban NOT to coach. I think Mr. Reinsdorf wasn't interested in paying big money for his head coach after firing Skiles in '07 around this time after that Bulls' team got off to a miserable start. What we have in VDN isn't just Uncle Jerry wanting to pay cheap for his head coach, but a guy who doesn't know what in the hell he's doing!

You are preaching to the choir brother.

15 to 20 games in is WAY too early to hear players talking about not giving maximum effort.

This screams of a team quitting on a coach and not believing in his methods.

You stop losing by 20+ points every game. This team has too much talent to be playing the way they are. It's clear they have quit on Vinny or his coaching is bad. I expected to see a Phoenix type offense with Rose. If you can't stop them on defense you should at least try to outscore them.

Too much talent????????? Your daffy! Quit , who in your opinion quit? Then sending these losers packing

+ 100

There is no excuse for pissing the bed in Atlanta like they did last night. Rose is far too talented to be mired in mediocrity as he is right now. Noah has a lot more game than I dreamed he ever would. Miller while uninspired and boring has a solid low post game. Gibson could develop into a solid player given the right coaching.

This team has quit - it started as whispers a few days ago with Noah's comments, now Rose is talking about giving "better effort". This is player speak for "please get VDN the fuck away from our team". Del Negro is hurting Rose' development and they need to make a change now.

You'll get a stern talking to from Kendal Gill.

It's WAY too early to start that kind of talk!

If he's still around Saturday, please do.

I will take up a pool for you to make a banner that says "Fire Vinny!" and run on the court - I figure it will take at least 400 bucks to bail you out, but you would be instantly famous. For at least 15 minutes.

I could do it. Im in the 5th row on the floor, so hopefully we are close to where the Bulls bench is. Although I was thinking a more popular slogan would be "Whack Vinny". It kind of fits nicely.

This could only be made better by having James Gandolfini sitting next to you.
